Finance Module
The Finance module is used to analyze the financial performance of power plants and to track the economic gains obtained from electricity generation.
With this module, users can:
- Analyze the financial equivalent of electricity production
- Track electricity consumption costs
- View excess production revenues
- Calculate savings based on plant performance
- Manage electricity invoices and contracts
The Finance module consists of the following sub-sections:
- Dashboard
- Invoices
- Netting
- Contracts
- YEKDEM
- Tariffs
- EPİAŞ Data
Finance Dashboard
The main screen summarizing the financial performance of the plant. Cost and revenue analyses are displayed based on the selected company and month.
Amount Paid
The total amount paid for electricity consumption in the relevant month. Included costs:
- Electricity consumption cost
- Distribution cost
- Taxes
Savings Amount
The difference between the electricity cost that would have been paid without the plant and the actual payment. Formula:
Savings = Amount That Would Be Paid Without the Plant − Actual Paid Amount
Excess Production Revenue
When plant production exceeds consumption, excess energy is fed into the grid and revenue is generated. Revenue sources:
- YEKDEM
- Free market
- EPİAŞ prices
SOLAR Score
A score showing the overall performance of the plant. Parameters:
- Energy production
- Savings amount
- Excess production revenue
- System performance
Netting Analysis
Analyzes the financial relationship between plant production and electricity consumption:
- Amount That Would Be Paid Without the Plant: Total electricity cost the business would pay
- Total Gain = Savings + Excess Production Revenue
- Net Income = Total Gain − Electricity Payment Amount
Financial Chart Analysis
Financial data on the dashboard is displayed as charts:
- Amount That Would Be Paid Without the Plant
- Total Gain
- Net Income
Monthly Production Status
Compares the plant’s simulated production with actual production values. The table includes:
- Month
- Simulated production (kWh)
- Actual production (kWh)
Calculation of Financial Data
Data sources for calculations:
- Plant production data
- Meter consumption data
- Electricity tariffs
- Contract information
- EPİAŞ market prices
- YEKDEM prices
Invoices
Displays energy consumption, distribution costs, and excess production revenues in detail.
- Invoice Filtering: Company/Subscriber and Month selection
- Invoice Types: Distribution, Consumption, Excess Production Revenue
Distribution Invoice
- Total production
- Capacitive consumption
- Inductive consumption
- Capacitive supply
- Inductive supply
- VAT base
- VAT
- Total amount
Consumption Invoice
- Total Consumption
Consumption After Netting
Formula: Consumption After Netting = Total Consumption − Plant Production
Transformer Loss
Energy losses occurring during the transformer conversion process
Distribution Cost
Tariffs applied by the electricity distribution company
Power Cost
Fixed cost based on contracted power
Capacitive and Inductive Violation
Penalty costs incurred when reactive energy limits are exceeded
ETV and VAT
- ETV: Electricity consumption tax
- VAT: Value added tax
Excess Production Revenue
- Excess electricity production
- Unit price
- Total revenue
- VAT base and VAT
Netting
Enables matching of production and consumption points and calculates net consumption.
- Net Consumption = Total Consumption − Plant Production
- Excess Production = Production − Consumption
