1. Overview
The Map module is a centralized monitoring tool that enables visualization of the geographical locations of all solar power plants within the SolarMetrica platform. With this module, users can view the locations of the plants they own or monitor across Turkey and surrounding regions on an interactive map.
The Map module not only displays plant locations but also visually presents critical operational information such as plant performance, production data, alarm statuses, and inverter performance.
This module provides great convenience especially for users managing a large number of plants. Users can quickly analyze how many plants are located in a region, their operational status, and their production performance via the map.
The SolarMetrica Map module has a fully interactive structure and allows users to quickly access detailed information about plants.
2. Map Interface
The Map screen can be accessed via the Map tab located in the main navigation menu of the SolarMetrica platform.
The map interface consists of the following core components:
- Satellite imagery-based map
- Plant location indicators
- Plant clustering (cluster) system
- Plant information popups
- Plant detail panel
- Map control tools
With this structure, users can easily view plants on the map and perform detailed analysis.
3. Plant Location Indicators
Each solar power plant on the map is represented by an icon. These icons visually present the plant’s location and general status to the user.
When there are many plants in a region, the system automatically uses a cluster mechanism. The number displayed on the cluster icon indicates how many plants are in that area. As the user zooms in on the map, the plants within the cluster begin to appear individually.
This feature is used to improve map readability, especially in regions with a large number of plants.
4. Plant Information Popup
When the user clicks on a plant group or a plant icon on the map, an information popup opens.
The following information is displayed in this popup:
- Plant name
- Number of alarms
- Daily production data
Additionally, if there are multiple plants belonging to the same company or group, they are displayed as a list. Each plant row is clickable, and this action opens the plant detail screen.
With this structure, users can quickly access plant data directly from the map.
5. Plant Detail Panel
When a plant is selected, the Plant Detail Panel opens on the left side of the screen. This panel contains detailed technical information about the plant.
The panel includes the following tabs:
- General: Contains general performance information of the plant.
- Inverter: Displays performance data of inverters connected to the plant.
- Fault: Section where technical faults occurring in the plant are listed.
- Alarm: Contains alarm records generated by the system.
6. General Information Section
The General tab provides a quick overview of plant performance.
The following information is included in this section:
- Active power value
- Company information
- Plant name
- Installed power
- Connection power
- Daily production
- Performance ratio
- Availability ratio
- Irradiance value
The active power value is visualized with a semicircular gauge. This indicator allows users to quickly understand the current production level of the plant.
7. Map Controls
The Map module includes various control tools to enhance user experience. These tools allow users to perform the following actions on the map:
- Switch between satellite and standard map view
- Zoom in and zoom out
- Full-screen view
- Enable or disable system layers
Through the control panel on the right side of the map, users can activate different system layers. Example layers include:
- Cameras
- JVA Lines
This feature allows users to analyze different data layers on the map.
8. Real-Time Monitoring
The Map module operates integrated with the real-time data infrastructure of the SolarMetrica platform. The plant data displayed on the map is updated with instant data received from inverters, data collection devices, and SCADA systems in the field.
With this structure, users can monitor not only the location of plants but also their production performance and alarm statuses in real time.
9. Operational Benefits
The Map module provides the following advantages to users:
- Viewing all plants on a single screen
- Geographical-based performance analysis
- Alarm and fault tracking
- Quick access to plant details
- Ease of operational management
This module provides great convenience, especially in portfolio management with a large number of plants.
10. Summary
The SolarMetrica Map module is a powerful monitoring tool that enables viewing the geographical locations and operational statuses of solar power plants on a single platform. Thanks to its interactive map structure, plant detail panels, and real-time data integration, users can analyze system performance more effectively. This module plays an important role in field management and operational control processes within the SolarMetrica platform.
